As a longstanding SAP Partner, dormakaba is presenting at the SAP booth in Hall 4, C 04, at CeBIT 2017, the new version of Kaba EACM which now also offers a time registration system that is integrated into the SAP ERP system, as well as the program package Kaba b-comm ERP 5.0 for SAP ERP for workforce management.
The new version of Kaba EACM (Enterprise Access Control Management) now offers not only an efficient access organisation but also a T&A integrated into the SAP system. The module ‘Kaba EACM-time‘ provides a fully-automated time management process from the recording of working hours to billing. The presence and absence times of the employers are easily and quickly recorded at the multifunctional terminals. The plausibility checking and posting of the data in the SAP ERP Human Capital Management solution (SAP ERP HCM) takes place via standardized HR-PDC interface of the SAP system.
The module ‚Kaba EACM-access‘ enables customers to access to buildings, areas and rooms directly from the SAP ERP application and combines the company, persononel, authorisation and access management within the SAP HCM OM module. Access rights and profiles can thus be automatically assigned on the basis of the employee's role in the company (organisational unit, position, function). If an employee changes department, joins or leaves the company, access authorisations are automatically adjusted. Employees can apply for new, temporary access rights using the workflow in the SAP system. Administrators and security staff assign access rights directly in the SAP solution and thus always have an overview of who has which access authorisations. If access rights change, they are updated in seconds in each access manager in each branch and anywhere in the world.
The access components, electronic master key systems or online access readers, and the time registration terminals communicate directly with the http (s) SAP solution. No additional system (no middleware) is needed for time registration and access control. This saves the company time and money as less work is required for administrative tasks and maintenance, and the process is less complex in general.
From the very beginning, the solution has been received with great interest. International groups and medium-sized companies who use SAP systems like the integrated solution as it is easy to use and integrates seamlessly with the existing workspace.
